The Meat Management Meat Industry Awards, the sector's biggest, longest established and most successful awards initiative, has launched its latest product nominations process for 2022, welcoming entries across 20 categories.
Culminating in the much anticipated black-tie dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday 15th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the annual awards recognises the best manufacturers and producers, suppliers, retailers, individuals and organisations in the UK meat industry.
Returning once again to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole after a highly successful in-person evening last year, the Meat Management Industry Awards is once again set to be the event of the year for the sector. Presented by a celebrity guest host, which will be announced soon, the awards’ black-tie dinner and ceremony offer guests a unique opportunity to network and celebrate excellence in style.
Both the voting and product nominations processes are now open and readers of Meat Management and meatmanagement.com plus the wider industry are invited to go online to nominate products across a range of categories and vote for their industry choices.

Rewarding excellence
Two of the most popular awards presented at the annual ceremony are the Young Manager of the Year Award and the Meat Management Excellence Award. Both are given to individuals, usually at pivotal times in their careers, who have excelled within their chosen fields or made an outstanding contribution to the industry.
The Meat Management Industry Awards is currently accepting nominations and votes for both categories. Once nominations for the Young Manager Award are finalised, a shortlist of candidates will be interviewed by an expert judging panel ahead of the ceremony in September. However, the Excellence Award relies entirely on your vote so make sure you participate and encourage colleagues to get involved, and put forward a person you feel should be honoured.
Tickets and tables are available to book now for what is expected to be a sell-out event on Thursday 15th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, near to the NEC.
