Britain’s Premier Young Butcher 2015 Lucy Crawshaw of Taylors Farm Shop in Lathom Lancashire will be presenting prizes and trophies to winners at MEATOPIA (UK) in Tobacco Dock in London’s Dockalnd on 19th and 20th September.
Meatopia is a festival which sees ethically sourced meat cooked over ethically sourced wood and charcoal by some of the world’s leading top chefs.
NFMFT president and London butcher Jim Sperring said: “Being asked to take part at MEATOPIA (UK) demonstrates how winning a competition like Premier Young Butcher 2015 can provide life changing experiences”.
Premier Young Butcher 2015, organised by the National Federation of Meat and Food Traders was held at Meatup in June.
