Members of the food manufacturing and retail industries are being called to nominate their products for the 2024 FMT Food Industry Awards ahead of the February deadline, as organisers predict a record number of entries.

Products can be nominated for free online here.

The 2024 business luncheon and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 27th June 2024 at the 5-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington, London.

Product nominations are free, and manufacturers, processors and retailers from across the food industry are invited to enter as many products as they like. Amongst the awards categories in this year's programme are Best Poultry Product and Best Red Meat Product.

Michel Roux Jr to host 2024 FMT Food Industry Awards

Globally-renowned chef Michel Roux Jr will host the FMT Food Industry Awards in June. | Picture credit: Issy Croker.

Celebrity chef, author and renown TV broadcaster Michel Roux Jr is to be the VIP host at this year’s prestigious FMT Food Industry Awards ceremony.

Commenting on the news, publisher of Food Management Today magazine, Graham Yandell MBE said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce that Michel has agreed to endorse our awards and present our winners with their trophies at our awards luncheon. It is going to be a very special day in the food industry calendar.

“This is an enjoyable and important annual networking event and having Michel Roux as our special guest is the icing on the cake.”

Michel was a popular judge and presenter on the BBC’s prime time show, MasterChef: The Professionals and has also presented and featured in many television programmes and series over the years. He has recently presented two television series of Michel Roux’s French Country Cooking on the Food Network TV channel from his home in Provence.
