With judging and voting for the 2024 Women In Meat Industry Awards (WIMIA) now completed, the industry looks ahead to Friday 29th November when this year’s winners will be revealed.

The 2024 awards ceremony will take place on Friday evening 29th November at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, with tennis star, TV broadcaster and ‘Strictly’ finalist Annabel Croft set to announce winners alongside Meat Management magazine publisher Graham Yandell MBE.

The black-tie dinner and awards ceremony will kick off with a drinks reception, where guests will have the opportunity to catch up and network before being invited into dinner.

Awards will be presented to the winners of 13 categories, including:

  • The Rising Star Award
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Foodservice
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Independent Retailing
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Multiple Retailing
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Manufacturing / Processing
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Craft Butchery
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Trade Body
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Wholesaling
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Livestock Procurement & Sustainability
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Poultry
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Training & Education
  • Meat Businesswoman Award - Industry Supplier

In addition, a final award, the prestigious Meat Businesswoman of the Year Award, will be presented to an individual who has shown outstanding dedication to her own business and to the wider meat industry.
