The ceremony revealed 12 winners including the 2022 Meat Businesswoman of the Year and the Rising Star Award. There is also a photo gallery online capturing the presentations and other moments from the event.

Since the ceremony, organisers have confirmed that next year the 2023 event will be expanded and upgraded, moving to the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. Lead organiser Sharon Yandell said: “The 2022 ceremony was a sell-out and we want to accommodate as many guests and partners as we can. The Royal Lancaster is a top London venue with excellent food, service and facilities, and we are very pleased to secure the venue date of Friday 17th November for this popular and unique occasion in the meat industry calendar.”

She added: “The new film captures the unique atmosphere of the recent ceremony and this year we also have a short 60-second version for those who just want to take a quick look.”

Michelle Ingerfield, the sales manager for the Women In Meat Industry Awards commented: “This event and the whole promotion goes from strength to strength. Virtually all partnership categories have now been booked for 2023 within days of the recent ceremony and it is very rewarding to see so many leading businesses wanting to be involved.”
