Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell MBE explained: “We have had another outstanding response in relation to the 2024 nomination process this year, but we have also had a number of requests to allow more time.

“Naturally we want as many people as possible to be involved so we are extending the nominations deadline to 1st July to offer the opportunity for companies and individuals across the industry to nominate candidates who they would like to see recognised.”

The annual Awards is the biggest and most important initiative which highlights the fast growing and significant contribution that women make across the meat sector.

All winners will be revealed at the ceremony and dinner later this year, taking place at the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on 29th November. TV broadcaster and tennis star Annabel Croft will be the guest host at the awards presentations, who many will recall was a popular finalist in the 2023 season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Once the nomination process completes by the new deadline, the selected finalists will go through to the voting stage of the awards.

If you’d like to see a colleague or someone working in the industry acknowledged for their contribution, then nominate them online here.
