Independent butchers, manufacturers and food creators across the nation celebrated UK Sausage Week with special flavours, promotions and sausage-making demonstrations. Take a look back at a week of sizzling activity.

Ginger Butchers in Matlock created an exclusive ‘Devil’s Banger’ for the week, which it described as a chip shop curry flavour with a touch of spice. The shop also advertised other flavours including wild mushroom, pork and tomato and its Bakewell Banger, which is a mix of different flavours.
The butcher also took to its TikTok social media account to discuss what makes a ‘proper sausage’, stating that the business prefers to make a meaty sausage with a bit of bite to it by using 80% pork and a blend of shoulder and belly cuts.
