Women in Meat Industry Awards confirms new ceremony venue for 2023

Following this year’s presentations on 11th November, the annual Women In Meat Industry Awards has confirmed that in 2023 the ceremony will further upgrade its venue and move to the 5-star Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The 2023 Women in Meat Industry Awards will be at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

The date for the event is scheduled as Friday 17th November 2023.

Lead organiser of the awards, Sharon Yandell said: “Once again the Women In Meat Industry Awards was a great success, so we are expanding the event next year and upgrading the occasion by moving to the prestigious Royal Lancaster hotel in London – a much bigger venue with excellent food, service and facilities. This year’s ceremony on 11th November was a sell-out, but due to capacity limitations at the Royal Garden hotel, where the 2022 ceremony was located, we could not accommodate some later bookers who as a result did not secure tables.

“Naturally we want as many companies and individuals as possible to enjoy this very special occasion and to participate in what is now an outstanding highlight in the industry’s business and social calendar. There is clearly a growing appetite from many companies wanting to be involved each year, as the Women In Meat Industry Awards goes from strength to strength.

“Our provisional event date for 2023 at the Royal Lancaster hotel is 17th November and the initial nomination process for participants is currently scheduled to start in June 2023.”

Organisers also described the online engagement that this activity generates as a phenomenon and that the feedback following this year’s presentations was excellent. Online activity was also at a record level across the nomination and voting period. Over 14,000 votes were received for finalists plus nearly 40,000 website visits. The online activity still continues following the recent ceremony, with substantial ongoing interest in the 2022 winners.
