The nominations period for the 2026 Women In Meat Industry Awards closes today [Friday 26th June] as organisers encourage industry to put forward their star colleagues.

The popular annual initiative celebrates women across the meat industry making outstanding contributions to the sector. It is the biggest and most important initiative of its kind, attracting a wide range of nominations each year.

If you’d like to see a colleague or someone working in the industry acknowledged for their contribution, then nominate them online without delay.

All winners will be revealed at the 5-star ceremony and dinner later this year, taking place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday evening 20th November 2026.

Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell OBE will be the guest host at this year’s awards presentations, handing out accolades to the winners of each category.

Once the nomination process has completed, the selected finalists will go through to the voting stage of the awards, where colleagues and friends can vote for their winner.
