The deadline for product nominations for the 2026 UK Sausage Week competition is this Friday 14th August, after organisers extended the final deadline due to substantial last-minute demand.
Organisers have confirmed an excellent response to the competition this year, but are reminding all those who wish to participate that product nominations will close once the Friday 14th August deadline date arrives.
Product delivery is then required on Tuesday 18th August when judging will commence at Harper Adams University. Full delivery information is provided in advance.
For businesses looking to nominate sausage products, it is the last chance to enter for this year’s UK Sausage Week competition, the biggest and arguably the most important competition of its kind in the UK. Entry is free of charge, and participants can enter as many products as they wish across different categories.

After the judging period, all attention will turn to the UK Sausage Week awards lunch at Butchers’ Hall, London, on Monday 26th October 2026, which marks the start of UK Sausage Week.
The category winners will be unveiled at an exclusive awards lunch, with the 2026 UK Supreme Sausage Champion set to be selected from the various category winners.
