The winners of the 2019 Women In Meat Industry Awards have been honoured at a black tie dinner and awards ceremony at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
Broadcaster and radio presenter, Katie Derham, presented the 10 winners with their trophies and certificates. The event rewards outstanding female talent across the UK meat sector and attracted nearly 7,000 votes for finalists this year.The Awards are driven by reader nominations and votes via the market leading Meat Management magazine, with an expert judging panel gathering to select the overall
Meat Businesswoman of the Year who is selected from one of the other category winners.This year, the overall accolade went to Lucianne Allen, Sales & Marketing Director of Aubrey Allen.Meat Management editor, Pam Brook said: “In an ever-changing commercial climate, it remains vitally important that we continue to move with the times and embrace diversity and the fantastic pool of talent available.“Tonight at the Awards ceremony we once again celebrated the meat industry’s giant strides in this area with our colleagues and friends.
