Event organiser Libby Goodwin commented: “Finalists and winners are based on voting numbers, some of the larger industry sectors will have more finalists to reflect voting volumes and the size of the particular industry sector, and also where some candidates have tied for votes.”

Joanna Thomson, editor of Meat Management magazine, who organise and stage the annual awards, added: “Once again the response to the Women In Meat Industry Awards has been incredible. The annual Awards continues to go from strength to strength and the ceremony, including dinner, will be another not to be missed occasion. It is a very special landmark event each year when we recognise great people and exceptional talent.”

Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell MBE was equally enthusiastic: “We are really looking forward to the ceremony and dinner on 29th November. The event offers a timely opportunity to stay over in London for those who want to, and to enjoy the Christmas festivities and shopping. However, the main thing is to recognise and highlight the amazing people we have right across the meat industry.”

Tennis star and TV broadcaster Annabel Croft will host the awards ceremony.
