For logistical reasons, due to Coronavirus, the Young Manager of the Year category and the Britain’s Best Butchers Shop category are taking a gap year with plans to reinstate them in 2021.
Publisher of Meat Management magazine, Graham Yandell, said: “With the ceremony just under a week away, we are all looking forward to a truly special and unique occasion. For the first time, the Awards will be online, but nevertheless it is going to be a great celebration and I must pay tribute to our valued partners who are fully involved and supporting this important initiative.
“As always we are very excited to be able to recognise and celebrate the very best products, companies, organisations and individuals that make up this great industry, and our special host, Ben Hanlin, will add some extra magic and fun to the proceedings. Now is the time to put the date firmly in the diary and tune in for what promises to be a very special event.”
A full review will also appear in the forthcoming edition of Meat Management magazine detailing winners and finalists as well as highly commended products.
