Retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and foodservice are gearing up for this year’s UK Sausage Week 2024, which will return as from Monday 28th October.
The premier initiative celebrating one of the public’s favourite meal-time staples will run from Monday 28th October through to Sunday 3rd November.
UK Sausage Week (UKSW) kicks off with a celebratory event held at Butchers’ Hall in London on the Monday, bringing together retailers, meat manufacturers and suppliers.
As part of the celebrations there will be nine awards presented following the annual UK Sausage Week competition which was judged back in August. This will include the crowning of the UK Supreme Sausage Champion, which is a title awarded to a winning sausage deemed by the UKSW judging panel to be of exceptional quality, taste and succulence.
