Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge countdown begins
Teams taking part in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge have begun their 100 day countdown to the event.
The charity event, held on 13th June will see teams dropped at a secret location near Lake Vyrnwy in Powys to begin a 65 kilometre cycling, kayaking and orienteering challenge through remote mountain ranges and rough terrain.
Over 90 teams have entered the 2015 challenge after Samworth Brothers opened the challenge to participants from recruitment agencies for the first time since the launch of the event in 2007.
The team from Scantec is taking part in Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge to raise money for two charities
Samworth Brothers has set a target of £400,000 to be raised from the challenge. One of the teams, Scantec’s ‘Astounding Stellars’, from Scantec recruitment agency based in North West England, are hoping to contribute to this by raising money for Cancer Research UK and Claire House.
