‘Business as usual’ for Nigel Fredericks
Catering butcher Nigel Fredericks appears to be back in business following a period of being uncontactable by telephone and email, and deactivating its social media accounts.
Meat Management previously ascertained from the business’s landlord that Nigel Fredericks had shut up shop and had not paid its rent for some time. The publication contacted the company on several occasions for confirmation but did not receive a response.
The @NigelFreddies twitter account has now been reactivated and two separate posts offer the following clarification:
“We wanted to say a huge thank you to all our customers for your love and support over the past week. It was a very challenging week and the support we have been given has been very overwhelming for our whole team.
“Some of you may have questions. We will be more than happy to speak to you. Please call the sales office [on] 0208 905 9005 and ask to speak to Jayne and Sarah. Thank you so much again and it’s back to business as usual. Love Team Freddies.”
Meat Management has contacted Nigel Fredericks and spoken to the team. The publication was promised a formal statement which is currently still awaited.
