It’s the final countdown to the MM Meat Industry Awards

The UK’s most popular meat industry awards event is back as an in-person event, hosted by football legend Kevin Keegan on Thursday 9th September.

This year the Meat Management Industry Awards returns as an in-person event.

The final preparations are now underway for the event set to take place on 9th September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Having taken place online for the first time last year as a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual awards will return this year to an in-person event.

Recognising the best of the best in the UK meat industry, the Meat Management Industry Awards will celebrate the winners and finalists across 20 different categories.

This year’s host is football icon, Kevin Keegan OBE.

This year the presentations will take place as part of a black-tie dinner, hosted by football legend Kevin Keegan OBE.

Publisher of Meat Management magazine Graham Yandell commented: “The reaction to staging these prestigious awards as an in-person event has been outstanding this year and to be honest attendance has surpassed expectations. We still live in challenging times, but there is clearly an appetite to return to some kind of normal.

“The Meat Management Industry Awards remains the single biggest event of its kind in the sector and after such a difficult period, getting together with friends and colleagues to celebrate the very best from our great industry is always a pleasure.”

He continued: “Our online virtual event went very well in 2020, but I have to say the excitement of staging a live in-person ceremony and getting back to the established format is palpable here at the MM offices. Welcoming our special guest Kevin Keegan is also something I am really looking forward to.”

With special thanks to our awards partners:
