Moy Park donates 150,000 meals to charity
Moy Park has reached a milestone with FareShare, the UK charity fighting hunger and food waste, by contributing over 150,000 meals.

Moy Park joined forces with FareShare in March 2015 and has provided more than 68 tonnes of fresh surplus chicken to be distributed across FareShare’s network of 21 regional centres, reaching homeless hostels, breakfast and lunch clubs, domestic violence refuges and community cafés across the UK.
FareShare aims to tackle hunger by redistributing surplus food to charities and then turn it into meals.
Commenting on the milestone, Paddy Molloy, account manager at Moy Park, said: “Moy Park is proud to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative with FareShare. By working together, companies across the supply chain can make a difference to those in need and we are happy to support FareShare to put our surplus product to the best use possible.
“We believe it is important to engage with our local communities and, through our partnership with FareShare, to support the great work they do.”
Rowen West-Henzell, commercial manager at FareShare, added: “We are really proud of our partnership with Moy Park which has so far generated over 150,000 meals for people in need. Having access to a regular supply of high quality protein is fundamental for the local charities FareShare works with.
“It enables them to provide hot nutritious meals for people that may otherwise go without, provides essential protein to help build up strength and offers a versatile product that can be used in a wide variety of meals.”
