Top chef Mark Hix to host FMT Food Industry Awards ceremony

Celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer Mark Hix is to host the FMT Food Industry Awards presentation lunch in London on 10th February 2016.

Known for his original take on British gastronomy, Mark shot to public fame when he competed in the BBC television series Great British Menu, winning the South West England heat and then going on to beat the reigning national champion, Michael Caines.

Commenting on the news, Graham Yandell the publisher of Food Management Today, sister magazine to Meat Management,  said: “We are all absolutely delighted that Mark has agreed to host our Awards luncheon. He is a fantastic chef and this is a real endorsement of our Awards programme, which sets out to reward excellence right across the food processing and manufacturing sector”.
