Bizerba officially opens new labelling plant in MK

Weighing, cutting and labelling company Bizerba UK has opened its new offices and label manufacturing facility, ‘Bizerba House’, in Milton Keynes.

The unveiling was attended by the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Mohammed Khan and representatives from Bizerba UK and Bizerba UK Labels. Bizerba UK said the event was a chance for the company to showcase its state-of-the-art new facilities, with around 100 guests invited to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new plant is fully equipped with a ten full-colour EFA 530 printing press from MPS.

Managing director of Bizerba UK, Charles Pullen presented a plaque to the company’s CEO Andreas Kraut in recognition of the new building’s name, Bizerba House. Kraut then officially opened the new facility, with production due to start immediately.

‘The next chapter’

Speaking ahead of the unveiling ceremony, Kraut said: “This is an incredibly exciting new development for Bizerba UK, and we could not be more proud of what we have achieved with this new facility.”

He added: “This opening event is a chance for us to share a very special moment in the company’s history with specially invited customers from retail, industry and logistics. All our guests were able to see first-hand just how special this new facility is and join us in toasting the next chapter in Bizerba UK’s & Bizerba UK Labels growth.”

Charles Pullen said: “Bizerba UK Labels is a growing and dynamic business, and this new facility is the beginning of something very important. It has been long-planned and the equipment carefully chosen, to ensure we become leaders in this field. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved to date and look forward to sharing this very special occasion with our most valued customers.

“The ceremony was a chance to celebrate and thank our guests for their ongoing support as we break new ground with our weighing solutions and printing operations.”
