F.L. Edge & Son Ltd withdraws sausage products with incorrect allergen labelling
F.L. Edge & Son Ltd has recalled four of its sausage products due to incorrect allergen labelling.
The withdrawn products, F.L. Edge & Son Ltd’s plain sausage, chipolata sausage, Harling pork sausage and sage and onion sausage, did not highlight the presence of wheat or celery on its labels.
All products with date codes of 16th September up to and including 23rd September 2015 have been removed.
The company has contacted its retail customers to tell them about the withdrawal. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores where the products were distributed, including Tesco and Morrison’s.
No other products are known to be affected.
