Gordon Newlands joins Innovative Food Ingredients
Gordon Newlands, who recently stepped down from the role of general manager of the Q Guild, has been appointed as an industry specialist by Innovative Food Ingredients (IFI).

Innovative Food Ingredients is a family-owned business that specialises in the distribution of food ingredients throughout the UK.
The company is a distributor for global food ingredients manufacturers, AVO, a European spice, spice blends, liquid marinade and sauce specialist, and Newly Weds Foods (NWF).
David Brennand, managing director of IFI, commented: “We are delighted that Gordon Newlands has chosen to join IFI after receiving many offers of employment from key players in our industry. He brings a wealth of experience, tremendous expertise, great passion and enthusiasm.”
Newlands has over 30 years’ experience in butchery, meat industry training, and management, including a senior position at Bidvest Edinburgh and his most recent role at the Q Guild
Brennand continued: “Gordon will be focusing on supporting and developing the independent butchery and processing sectors in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England. He will be on hand to provide innovative solutions to help grow our customers’ business and to also assist with modern day added value production and processing challenges.
“He will also introduce and demonstrate our growing portfolio of products in an informative, engaging and innovative manner. We feel that Gordon will be a fantastic asset to our business and will complement the talents and expertise of our ever expanding team.”
