New Zealand butcher visits UK to learn from Q Guild
Timmy Watson, New Zealand’s 2014 Alto Young Butcher of the Year, has visited the UK on a study tour facilitated by the national Butchers Q Guild.
Based in London on the tour, Watson gained experience at three Q Guild Butcher members: Chadwicks in Balham, Lidgates Meat Emporium in Holland Park and HG Walters Butchers in Barons Court. He also had the opportunity to experience Smithfield with D Andrade and Son.

Q Guild manager Gordon Newlands said: “We were delighted to facilitate Timmy’s learning experience in his short stay with our members. This will enhance and foster the links that already exist between New Zealand and Q Guild Butchers.”
